Being Russian from Bensonhurst, I grew up going to parties at Russian catering halls throughout Brooklyn, and its usually always the same shotty service, and lack of professionalism. Oligarch was nothing like I’m used to! The place was spotless in every way. It looks like a palace, and from the architecture to the decorations, it’s the perfect place to have a party. My sister’s engagement party went off without a hitch, the owner Rafael made sure of it. He was so hands on and seemed like he really wanted to make sure his guests had a good time. And the service was impeccable!

This place is HUGE! My husband and I celebrated our wedding reception here, and while we were a bit wary about having it in Queens, it made the most sense for our family and friends. Our original location ended up canceling our reception due to some plumbing issues, and while it was a nightmare at the time – I am so happy it happened because it was nothing compared to this place! I also want to mention that the owner, Rafael and his staff were so nice and courteous throughout the whole night. I had a number of relatives compliment the staff and their professionalism after the party. All in all, I couldn’t have been happier!

My kids through us a 50th anniversary party at Oligarch last month. The ambience is great, the décor is gorgeous, and the lighting made every picture from the night look like it was taken by a professional photographer and not my nephew LOL! Plus, it’s a huge location, they were able to invite family from out of town, and many coworkers. And while my kids wouldn’t tell me an exact number, from what I understand it wasn’t bad at all in terms of price. After such a warm reception with the owner, I told him I just had to leave a nice review. Thanks for a wonderful evening to the Oligarch staff, my husband and I had an amazing time!! Highly recommended!!
